Krishana is a region in western Romania, which includes the districts of Arad, Bihor and Salaj. Krishana was named after three main rivers in the region: Krisul Alb, Chris Negro and Chris Reed.
Arad is a district, and a city whose historical data date back to the 11th century. The most famous attractions in this city are Bulevar Revolucije, Palata kulture, Crvena crkva, itd.
In the district of Bihor, the city that stands out is Oradea, which is famous for its many buildings, of which the Bishop's Palace (Palatul Episcopal), the museum of the Krišana region (Muzeul Tarii Crisurilor)

Banat is a region in Romania that includes the Karas-Severin and Timis district.

Satmar is a district in Romania that occupies a space between Marmuresa and Krishna, and the capital of this region is Satu Mare. The main attractions of Satu Mare are Bulevard Traian (Bulevardul Traian), Liberty Square (Piata Libertatii), Great Synagogue, etc.

Maramures is a district in the Republic of Romania, in its north-western part. Maramures abounds in wooden churches, mythological resources, impressive landscapes and very old customs. In this district is carefully cultivated a traditional culture from the medieval past.

Bukovina is a region consisting of the Sucava and Botosani districts. The fort was once the capital of Moldova, and today it is a great starting point for sightseeing of historical, cultural and natural attractions located in the region of Bukovina.

Moldava is a region in north-eastern Romania, bordering Moldova and Ukraine, which consists of the districts of Yasse, Vaslui and Galati, as well as parts of Botoşani, Niamg, Bacău and Vrancea.

Vlaska is a region in southern Romania, also known as Muntenia. Capital, Bucharest is located in this region, as well as the first residences of village princes and mountain resorts in the Prahove valley. Vlaska is also the name of the old kingdom of the notorious Vlad Tepes.

Dobrudzha is a region in south-eastern Romania, located between the Danube and the Black Sea. It consists of the districts of Constant and Tulcea.
The main attractions in this region are the ancient port city of Konstnac, a biosphere reserve that covers an area of 2,200 square miles and is located on the UNESCO list and the city port of Tulcea, where it can be cruised along the Danube Delta.

George Emil Palade

George Emil Palade was a Romanian cell biologist, which was described as "the most influential cell biologist ever".
Together with Albert Claude and Christian de Duve in 1974 he was awarded with the Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine. Palade also received the U.S. National Medal of Science in Biological Sciences in 1986.

Dumitru Dorin Prunariu

Dumitru Dorin Prunariu is a retired Romanian astronaut, the first and only Romanian astronaut. In May 1981 he completed an eight-day space mission on board Soyuz 40, and became the 103rd human being to fly into the Outer Space. He received the awards of Hero of the Socialist Republic of Romania, Hero of the Soviet Union, medal "Golden Star" and the Order of Lenin.

Simona Amanar

Simona Amanar is a Romanian gymnast. She helped Romania to win four consecutive world team titles (1994 – 1999) as well as the 2000 Olympic team title. She is a seven-time Olympic medalist and a ten-time world medalist. She was inducted into the International Gymnastics Hall of Fame in 2007.

Vlad the Impaler

Vlad III, Prince of Wallachia or Vlad the Impaler or Dracula was a ruler mainly from 1456 to 1462. He spent much of his rule campaigning against the Ottoman Empire and its expansion. He become famous as a tyrant taking sadistic pleasure in torturing and killing. The total number of his victims is estimated in the tens of thousands.

Ion Irimescu

Acad. PhD Dr. Honoris Causa Ion Irimescu was one of Romania's greatest sculptors and sketchers, named “patriarch of Romanian art and sculpture". In 1975 a museum was established in Falticeni with a substantial donation from the artist, with his 313 sculptures and 1,000 drawings. In 2001 he was awarded the Prize of Excellence for Romanian Culture.
