Location
Geographically speaking, the Međimurje County is the northernmost and smallest Croatian county with 130,000 inhabitants bordering with Slovenia and Hungary. As it is located only 30 km from the Austrian border, it offers more connection routes to Central Europe than any other Croatian county.
