The Hunguest Hotel Erkel is found in the heart of the city in the historical area, directly next to the old brick castle.

Gyula city is located 1,5 hours far from the Horgos border by car, 3,5 hours from Belgrade, so it is so available for Serbian guests, and the roads are in really good condition.

The big advantages of the hotel are the direct access to the Castle Spa through the corridor, and the unique big capacity.

Accommodation

The Munkácsy Building***, the 3-star wing of Hunguest Hotel Erkel, with 122 rooms was renovated in 2001. Beyond this, the 4-star Dürer Building can be found which was inaugurated in the beginning of May, 2011. This wing contains 177 standard double rooms, 5 suites and 4 rooms for disabled guests.

Conference capacities

The hotel has a unique big capacity in the region: it can welcome 616 guests in 308 rooms at the same time in the 3 and 4 star buildings.

Hunyadi Mátyás room has capacity for 299 people at the same time, and hotel also has some smaller meeting rooms.
