ABOUT THE DESTINATION
Budva is on the central part of Montenegrin coast, called "Budvanska Rivijera". It has developed around a small peninsula, on which the old town is situated. It is by far most visited destination in Montenegro, attracting mostly domestic, Russian, Serbian and other Eastern European tourists with an old town, bars and nightclubs, and beaches mostly consisting of small rocks. It is base for mass tourism, while in its near vicinity there are luxury resorts such as Sveti Stefan or Miločer. There are as many as 35 beaches in the greater area, mostly rock and a little sand (8 beaches are marked with blue flags). Becici is a place in the municipality of Budva in Montenegro located to the northeast of Budva. Becici beach have almost 2 miles long, which is among the most beautiful in Montenegro and southern Adriatic. Unlike Budva which has a large number of private and smaller accommodation, Becici is mainly composed of medium-sized and large hotels. Some of them, as well as the Mediterranean, Iberostar Bellevue or Queen of Montenegro was largely renovated, and the most important investment was the Hotel Splendid, a luxurious five-star hotel.

Ascents of great Mediterranean cultures marked the spirit of this town, and it’s felt even today, when Budva is a unique touristic pearl of this part of Adriatic sea. This town became known as a touristic destination long time ago- first tourists came here in 1923. and today it is usually called “metropolis of tourism” because it is the most visited destination in Montenegro and one of the most visited on Adriatic. Budva, as a meeting destination of Montenegro has many hotels with excellent high-class cohgress facilities, including the largest Hotel Splendid Conference & Spa Resort. There are Avala Resort & Villas, Hotel Queen of Montenegro, Montenegro Hotel, Hotel Blue Star, and others, as well as the Adriatic Fair.
